Just wanted to share our recent experience at Honey’s Bee Bee Que in Davenport right off exit 55 on I-4. It’s located in the Posner Park Mall tucked between a GNC and a yogurt shop, it’s a keeper.
Let me tell you, the folks there are super friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Their food is absolutely delicious. It’s a little on the pricier side but this was quality food, cooked to perfection and worth every penny. The portions are generous too!
We stopped in for lunch, and I went for the hickory smoked chopped brisket sandwich with house fries while my hubby went for the back rib sandwich (quarter rack, bones out) with homemade cole slaw. Let me tell you, every bite was beyond delicious.
Sure, it’s a bit of a splurge, but hey, sometimes you’ve just gotta treat yourself, right? And you won’t be disappointed. We’re already planning our next visit!

If you can get over the initial sticker shock, you won’t be disappointed. You just don’t expect that in a shopping center like Posner Park.
Must have visited at the wrong time. The food wasn’t anything special. I probably won’t go back again.
