I-4 Ramps to I-75 to Close, Detours in Place October 23 and 24

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following ramp closures from I-4 to I-75 in Tampa as part of the Interstate improvement project.

  • The eastbound and westbound I-4 Exit 9 ramps onto northbound I-75 may be closed between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Sunday and Monday (October 23 and 24) nights. The closures could change to other nights for weather or other reasons, so be prepared for possible detours Sunday through Thursday nights. Here are the planned nights and detour routes:
    • Eastbound I-4 to northbound I-75 closed Sunday night. DETOUR: Bear right at the ramp split to go south on I-75, use Exit 260 to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard/SR 574, turn left at the top of the ramp and go east on SR 574 over I-75, then turn left and enter northbound I-75.
    • Westbound I-4 to northbound I-75 closed Monday night. DETOUR: Bear left at the ramp split to go south on I-75, use Exit 260 to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard/SR 574, turn left at the top of the ramp and go east on SR 574 over I-75, then turn left and enter northbound I-75.
