The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following land closures on I-4 from Daytona to DeLand this week:
- Sunday, July 31st, 2016 to Saturday, August 6th, 2016
Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., I-4 eastbound and westbound outside shoulder closures from SR 44 to I-95. - Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., I-4 eastbound and westbound lane closures as needed for maintenance of traffic, setting barrier wall and asphalt paving.
Motorists are asked to be aware of trucks entering and exiting the roadway, and of traffic shifts.
This project consists of widening I-4 (SR 400) to 6 lanes from east of SR 44 to west of I-95, and reconfiguration of the I-4 and US 92 Interchange. The existing left-hand exit from eastbound I-4 to US 92 will be changed to a right-hand exit. Project also includes 3 animal crossings.
