The Florida Department of Transportation reports that eastbound I-4 will be temporarily diverted through the Maitland Boulevard interchange from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2 to Friday, May 5. Traffic will exit I-4 to eastbound Maitland Boulevard (Exit 90A), cross over Maitland Boulevard and enter back onto eastbound I-4 using the existing on-ramp. Law enforcement officers will be present on Maitland Boulevard to facilitate traffic flow.
The eastbound I-4 exit loop ramp to westbound Maitland Boulevard (Exit 90B) will be closed at the same time to accommodate bridge construction. Left turns onto westbound Maitland Boulevard from exit 90A will be permitted during the detour.
Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
