The Florida Department of Transportation reports that the eastbound Interstate 4 on-ramp from Michigan Street is closing for one year as soon as 10 p.m. on Thursday, March 1.
The long-term ramp closure is necessary to provide a safe work zone so construction crews can safely construct new bridge and ramp structures at the I-4 and Michigan Street interchange.
Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
