The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is planning improvements to Interstate 4 (I-4) that will help keep traffic flowing smoothly and safely in Seminole County.
The improvements include extending the eastbound I-4 auxiliary lane at the Lake Mary Boulevard exit to the end of the I-4 Ultimate project, just east of State Road (S.R.) 434; reconstructing the E.E. Williamson Road overpass; and resurfacing eastbound I-4 from the end of the I-4 Ultimate project to Lake Mary Boulevard, from Lake Mary Boulevard to County Road 46A, and from S.R. 46 to the Volusia County line.
