The Florida Department of Transportation is reporting the following construction alerts associated with the I-4 Orlando Ultimate construction project currently in progress in the Orlando Metro area.
Important Notice
A traffic shift on westbound I-4 beginning at the Formosa Ave. overpass is scheduled, weather permitting, to open on the morning of Oct. 12.
Other major detours for the week of Oct. 11 includes one nighttime road closure, four nighttime ramp closures and one long-term road closure.
– Church Street closed from Hughey Avenue to Garland Avenue under I-4; Sept. 27-Oct. 16 from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.
– Eastbound I-4 exit ramp to Par Street; Oct. 11-16 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
– Eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from Princeton Street; Oct. 11-16 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
– Westbound SR-408 entrance ramp from Tampa Avenue; Oct. 12-14 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
– Westbound I-4 entrance ramp to northbound Kirkman Road; Oct. 12-16 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
– The southern portion of Caravan Court is closed until Sept. 23, 2016
