The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is reopening the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramp from eastbound State Road (S.R.) 434 in its final configuration.

The ramp is scheduled to reopen as early as Friday morning, May 22. The ramp was closed for more than a month to accelerate I-4 Ultimate construction work in the Longwood area.

The ramp reopening is a milestone for the I-4 and S.R. 434 interchange as each ramp will now be in its final alignment.

To facilitate the reopening of the ramp in its final alignment, there will be a double lane closure on westbound I-4 from S.R 434 to the westbound I-4 exit ramp to S.R. 436 overnight as well.

Motorists should maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone, and carefully follow roadway signs.

Modifications or extensions to these schedules may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
