The Florida Department of Transportation reports that there are shoulder and lane closures on Interstate 4 from east of SR 44 to west of I-95.
This I-4 construction project consists of widening to 6 lanes and reconfiguration of the I-4 and US 92 Interchange. The existing left-hand exit from eastbound I-4 to US 92 will be changed to a right-hand exit.
- Friday (June 3): 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. — Eastbound and westbound outside shoulders closed between SR 44 and I-95.
- Friday (june 3): 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. — Eastbound and westbound lane closures are possible between SR 44 and I-95 to place temporary and permanent pavement and for roadway widening.
Motorists should be aware of trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the median and outside shoulders.
Motorists also should be aware of traffic shifts near the ramp to US 92 and just west of I-95.
Sunday, June 5th, 2016 to Saturday, June 11th, 2016
- Friday (June 10): 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., eastbound and westbound outside shoulder closures between SR 44 and I-95.
- Monday – Friday (June 6 – June 10): 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., Eastbound and westbound lane closures at SR 44 for milling and resurfacing.
Additional lane closures for I-4 construction may be needed for maintenance of traffic.
Motorists should be aware of trucks entering and exiting the highway from the median and outside shoulders.
