The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with the I-4/I-95 interchange reconstruction project from North of S.R. 44 to North of U.S. 92.
Lane Closures
- Through Saturday, August 4th, 2018
I-95 southbound to S.R. 400 eastbound ramp closed: The exit ramp from I-95 southbound to S.R. 400/Beville Road will remain closed through 6 a.m. August 9. - Through Saturday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. – 6 a.m., I-95 northbound and southbound lane closures from U.S. 92 to south of I-4.
U.S. 92 eastbound to I-95 northbound ramp closure Wednesday & Thursday, 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Traffic may take Tomoka Farms Road or Williamson Boulevard north to LPGA Boulevard and back to I-95 northbound.
U.S. 92 closure at I-95 Thursday, 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Traffic will be directed around the work area using Williamson Boulevard, Bellevue Avenue and Tomoka Farms Road.
This project reconstructs the I-95 interchange leading to and from I-4 and U.S. 92, which will increase mobility and connectivity. It will also increase safety for merging, exiting and through-traffic. The project will eliminate a left-side merge ramp onto I-95 from U.S. 92, just a short distance to the south. Additional lanes will be constructed along I-95 allowing vehicles traveling through the area to continue in dedicated lanes, and vehicles entering and exiting I-95 to be separated into dedicated entrance and exit lanes.
