About This I-4 Project:
This project calls for the milling and resurfacing of nearly 5 miles of Interstate 4 (I-4) from west of Saxon Boulevard to east of State Road (S.R.) 472 in Volusia County, including the ramps and shoulders at the Saxon Boulevard and S.R. 472 interchanges.
Other improvements are replacement of existing curb cut ramps, resetting guardrail, correcting shoulder deterioration at the interchanges, placement of rumble strips and pavement markings.
Additionally, the project will be completed in conjunction with project 441070-1, which includes interchange improvements at Saxon Boulevard, including realignment of the I-4 eastbound off ramp and widening on Saxon Boulevard.
