The Florida Department of Transportation reports that nightly and continuous closures will be necessary in the downtown Orlando area, spanning from Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441/17-92) and Colonial Drive (State Road 50). Work will include the use of work zone lighting, and noise and vibration are anticipated at night.
The following closures are scheduled to take place through September:
- Periodic nighttime and potential daytime closures of Parramore Avenue under State Road (S.R.) 408 are likely to occur into 2021 to accommodate bridge work.
- The eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from Colonial Drive is scheduled to close nightly between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. August 22 – September 13, and daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. August 30 – September 3.
Modifications or extensions to this schedule may be necessary because of weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
