Motorists should expect nighttime closures of the eastbound I-4 entrance ramps from westbound and eastbound Maitland Boulevard on Thursday, November 10, as I-4 Ultimate crews work to transition to the new temporary ramps. The nighttime closures are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. on Thursday and end at 5 a.m. on Friday.

In a temporary location, the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from eastbound Maitland Boulevard will be close to the location of the old ramp. On the other hand, the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from westbound Maitland Boulevard will nearly be in its permanent location and will have a more noticeable change to motorists. To enter the ramp from westbound Maitland Boulevard, motorists will need to decide much sooner. The eastbound I-4 on-ramp is being combined with the westbound Maitland Boulevard exit to Hope Road, which is approximately 600 feet sooner.

In addition, motorists traveling south on Hope Road toward Maitland Boulevard will need to make a decision: left lane for westbound Maitland Boulevard or westbound I-4; or right lane for eastbound I-4. In either lane on Hope Road, motorists must stop at a new stop sign and wait for traffic from westbound Maitland Boulevard to eastbound I-4 to clear before proceeding.
