The Florida Department of Transportation reports I-4 resurfacing from 50th Street (Exit 3) to McIntosh Road (Exit 14). Because of this work there will be astbound lane closures. Work will occur from Monday, July 22 through Thursday, July 25 between the hours of 8:30 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.

This project will lengthen the I-75 ramps going onto eastbound I-4. The result will allow drivers more time and space to merge into the mainline travel lanes.

Construction began in October 2018 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2020.
