Ramp Closures, Detours as I-4/I-95 Interchange Work Continues

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with I-4/I-95 construction in the Daytona Beach area this week.

Through Thursday, August 9th, 2018

I-95 southbound to S.R. 400 eastbound ramp closed: There is a continuous closure of the exit ramp from I-95 southbound to S.R. 400/Beville Road through 6 a.m. August 9. I-95 southbound traffic should exit at U.S. 92 eastbound and take Williamson Boulevard south to Beville Road.

Sunday, August 5th, 2018 to Saturday, August 11th, 2018

Sunday – Saturday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. – 6 a.m., I-95 northbound and southbound lane closures from U.S. 92 to south of I-4.

I-95 southbound off ramp to I-4 westbound closed Wednesday & Thursday (if needed), 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. I-95 traffic should exit at U.S. 92 westbound to access I-4 westbound.

I-4 eastbound closed Wednesday, 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Traffic will be directed to exit onto U.S. 92 (Exit 129).

U.S. 92 closure at I-95 Thursday, 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Traffic will be directed around the work area using Williamson Boulevard, Bellevue Avenue and Tomoka Farms Road.

This project involves widening Interstate 95 (I-95) from four lanes to six lanes from north of State Road (S.R.) 44 to north of U.S. 92 (International Speedway Boulevard). The southern project limit will tie into the recently completed I-95 widening project to the south (from south of S.R. 406 to north of S.R. 44). The project scope also includes the reconstruction of the systems interchange with I-4, I-95 and U.S. 92.
