The Florida Department of Transportation reports that on Monday and Friday, from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., there will be a single inside lane closure on westbound I-4 near Saxon Boulevard (Exit 111). The closure will be used to accommodate concrete delivery for pier protection construction.

This project calls for the milling and resurfacing of nearly 5 miles of Interstate 4 (I-4) from west of Saxon Boulevard to east of State Road (S.R.) 472 in Volusia County This includes work on the ramps and shoulders at the Saxon Boulevard and S.R. 472 interchanges.

Other improvements include replacement of existing curb cut ramps, resetting guardrail, correcting shoulder deterioration at the interchanges, and placement of rumble strips and pavement markings.

This project will be completed in conjunction with project 441070-1, which includes interchange improvements at Saxon Boulevard, including realignment of the I-4 eastbound off ramp and widening on Saxon Boulevard.
