The Florida Department of Transportation is reporting the following temporary road closure and detour:
A detour route is in place at the I-4/SR 559 interchange while crews close the lanes on I-4 under the SR 559 overpass. Westbound traffic will merge from three lanes to one lane. Signs direct traffic to exit on the SR 559 entrance ramp, (exit 44), then cross over SR 559, and then enter I-4 on the I-4 entrance ramp. Be prepared to stop at SR 559. This detour is in effect at night/overnight between the hours of 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday, April 13 while crews relocate the crane at I-4/SR 559. Law enforcement officers will be present directing traffic.
